Rebecca Weston Wright
Writer, Actor
About Me
Rebecca Weston Wright is a classically-trained, highly versatile British actress and writer. Having trained at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in Los Angeles, she has benefited from the high-quality teaching of David Lee Strasberg, Sharon Angela (Actor - The Sopranos), Kymberley Harris (Director and Playwright) and Anne de Salvo (Actor - Arthur (1981).) This solid grounding, along with her degree in English Literature from Exeter University, enables her to immediately find the truth of a scene, breathe life into complex, multi-faceted characters and unlock the raw emotion and feeling in any text she encounters.
Currently based in London, her recent acting credits include the professional horror shorts Exposure and Tagliente, both scheduled for release later this year. As a writer, her most recent credits are Snapshots, a series of short plays recently performed by S13 Theatre Company.
Weston Wright’s most recent and most exciting project was her debut play, Boxed In—a critically acclaimed production that was performed at London’s Off West End venue, the Old Red Lion Theatre, and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2025.

Testimonial
"[Rebecca Weston Wright] is a talented, intelligent actor [...] with a cool, kind of complicated vibe that makes her very interesting to watch. You need a certain level of intelligence to do this work and she has it. It's natural for her." - Sharon Angela (The Sopranos)
